Welcome to Ash and Elm Kindred of Amiskwacîwâskahikan

we acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 land, a traditional meeting ground, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux (So-toe), Blackfoot, Métis, Dene (De-nay) and Nakota Sioux. We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands.

Who we are.

Who we are.

Who we are.

We are an inclusive kindred (including Lokeans) aligned with the Heathen Confederation of Canada and also aligned and in training with the Troth. We are an English speaking kindred but can work in French and German. We also very much believe in reconciliation with the local Indigenous populations on who’s land we stand, more specifically, Cree territory (Treaty 6) ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ. We tolerate zero hate, especially towards any minorities as the majority of this kindred are from the LGBT2S+ community. Other groups are free to attend, but  please remember, this is our house please be respectful of that. We have members that have religious trauma from different backgrounds.

What we do.

Who we are.

Who we are.

We are dedicated to our ancestors and the old gods of the Germanic/Norse Pantheon through an animistic lens. We welcome all persons regardless of religious or cultural background, ancestral background,  physical ability, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

If the Gods and Goddesses called to them, they are welcome.

Animism.

Who we are.

Animism.

The knowledge and practices of engaging and respecting gods and spirits that inhabit the landscapes, the cycle of seasons and history.
